Hi y'all. My flatmate is moving out at the beginning of January to move into a grown up house
so I'm after either someone to move into her room or a pal to move into a nice 2 bedroom place (I'm thinking Portobello or possibly Leith, or maybe I could stay near the Meadows). Actually, her room will need to be filled regardless so...
The room available is ma-hoos-ive and overlooks the Meadows. It has a fireplace (not a working one, but there's always a chance we could make that happen...) and nice *original features*. It's £270 a month (plus bills & CT) which is obviously a good price for the size and location. It comes with one of the best bathrooms ever and a big kitchen that we like to hang out in. No living room though. There will be 3 other girls living there, all paying council tax (even though one of them is a post-grad student). It's an old flat so needs a lot of heating/jumpers in the winter and is not exactly polished but it is beautiful (and big enough to fit the whole of SnT or a whole team in for a meeting
) We don't have a TV and that's the way I plan to keep things (we do have t'interweb though so it's not totally Luddite!) and I don't want to live with a couple. You ARRG types are all quite good so I thought I'd put the idea out there! Anyone interested?
