Um hello, obviously this sounds ridiculous but at some point this year I'm going to be trying to live in a van with my special van friend.
This will involve a whole lot of work and cold and new lows of personal hygene.
One of the biggest things is finding somewhere to park, this will probably take ages and we're looking at millions of different possibilities BUT, if anyone has any contacts or leads or ideas please let me know!
The dream is somewhere out of town, more countryside than city, but that wasn't more than a 45 minute cycle ride [about 10-15 miles] from the city centre, or that was possibly near a train station.
Ideally a patch belonging to a sympathetic land-owner or commuity, who wouldn't mind two clowns living on their land and bumbling about doing things like filtering vegetable oil and building a compost toilet. In exchange we could pay rent, work for a set number of days a month or share *skills*.
If you know anyone or anywhere that might even remotely fit this bill please let me know! Everyone can come round the van for a cuppa when it exists.
